Presentation guidelines

  • Presentations can either be in 16:10 (widescreen) or 4:3 formats

  • An Apple MacBook laptop, installed with the latest versions of Microsoft PowerPoint (16.16.8), Apple Keynote (9.0.1), Apple Preview (10.1), and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, will be used for the main session talks in the Concert Hall.  Please make yourself known to the session chairs and upload your talk via a USB stick at least 30 minutes prior to your session starting. You may use your own laptop if really necessary, but please provide your own adaptor in order to connect to a HDMI or VGA cable and test that your set-up works prior to your session starting.

  • Organisers of workshops will need to provide their own laptops (and HDMI/VGA adaptors if necessary).  Projectors and screens (16:10) will be provided.

  • Lapel microphones and laser pointers will be available for all sessions and workshops.

  • Presentations for the main sessions made using Google Slides may be uploaded in advance by emailing a shareable link URL to sjm41@cam.ac.uk
